How To Use Green Screen On CapCut

Hello! Today, I’m going to show you how to use chroma key to remove the background from your green screen video in CapCut. First, import your background video or image onto the main track. Next, deselect the footage and click on “Video Effects” under the “Lens” section. Scroll down to find “Blur,” select it, and click “Adjust.” For a subtle blur, set the value around 20 and apply it. Extend the blur effect across your background.

Now, select your green screen video and choose “Chroma Key” from the options. Drag the chroma key selector to the green screen area you want to remove. Adjust the intensity to around 20 and click on “Shadow” to refine the effect. Your video’s background should now be removed.

Removing the background from a video offers several significant benefits. It allows for greater creative control, enabling you to place your subject in any environment or setting that enhances the narrative or visual appeal of your project. This is particularly useful for creating professional-looking videos without the need for expensive sets or locations. Additionally, it helps in producing cleaner and more focused content by eliminating distractions and keeping the viewer’s attention on the subject. The ability to use various backgrounds or replace them with dynamic elements can also improve the overall engagement and impact of your video. Overall, background removal enhances flexibility, creativity, and production quality in video content.
